Joe Samnik is a certified and consulting arborist, licensed by the Bureau of Entomology, State of Florida. He is entering his 40th year of practice and was awarded the Edward W. Bok lifetime achievement award for excellence in arboriculture. He has been named as an expert witness in over 500 litigation matters involving trees and tree disputes.

He reduced a tree assessment from $3.2 million to $193,000 by understanding and interpreting nuances in tree ordinance language.

He reduced another tree assessment from $346,000 to $19,000 by his expert knowledge of tree species.

Joe is an approved provider for Landscape Architect CEUs by the Department of Business and Professional Regulations (DBPR)

His seminars on trees, including the reduction of ordinance assessments are recognized for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) by the Florida Chapter, Society of Landscape Architects. He was a presenter at the National Conference of Landscape Architects in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida (2005).

He was a guest speaker for the annual conference of the Florida Chapter of Landscape Architects (2003) and the national convention of the Association of Landscape Architects (2005).
